Due to overwhelming demand, we may not be able to process requests for immediate services, ie. same-day, or same-week lesson. If you require services immediately, please do not make a payment online prior to contacting our office. The processing fees that we incur will not be refunded to you should you decide that we cannot meet your immediate requirements and request a refund.
Please call our office 516.579.2988 to set up any lessons that you purchase online, or if you have any questions or need further clarification before making a purchase.
Also, due to overwhelming demand in scheduling, we require 24-hour notice for any cancellations. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions. Our instructors must be paid for any services scheduled that are cancelled with less than 24-hour notice, and therefore you must be charged for them.

5-Hour Pre-Licensing Course Registration Information
*This course is a pre-requisite for booking a road test if you have not completed a driver education course at a high school or accredited academy. Classes are held via Zoom every Wednesday evening at 5:30 pm and Saturday at 10:00 am. The course fee is $65.00.
Please download and review the NYS Dept of Motor Vehicles, Pre-Licensing Course Student Manual prior to taking the class.
You will need to email a copy of the front of your photo permit to: 5hourclass@emdsonline.net on the day of the class you plan to attend (on Friday for the Saturday class) in order to be fully registered. The temporary paper permit can only be used if it is still valid, and it must be accompanied by a valid NYS government photo ID. NO OTHER FORM OF ID IS ACCEPTABLE.
Be sure to include your full name and class date in the subject line of the email. If the payment was made online, in the body of the email, please include the name that the payment was made in, and the date made. If the address on your permit is not your current mailing address, please include that in the body of the email as well.
We will not be held responsible for certificates that are sent to an old address or lost by the post office. We offer the option to pick up your certificate in our office if you prefer. Please let the instructor know your preference during the class.
A fee of $15 will be charged for a duplicate if the certificate is lost.
We will respond to your email between the hours of 4:00 pm and 5 pm with the information needed to connect to the class. Logon time is 15 minutes prior to class start time. You will not be accepted after the start time. If you do not receive a reply by 5 pm, please call: 516-579-2988 RIGHT AWAY.
